Allied Executives is a collection of carefully organized peer groups for CEOs and business owners designed to help leaders gain positive momentum and strategic vision for their companies and their lives.

The professional facilitation of peer roundtables, workshops and individual coaching results in candid discussion and practical advice.  The confidential setting and third-party perspective allows for a true exchange of ideas and observations that leaders need to hear.

A professionally built and led group, made up of 10-14 members, which meets monthly to help each other take their business to the next level.   

The peer group will provide you with an experienced group of advisors - and a seasoned facilitator - who can offer you advice, feedback, and critical thinking around the challenges you all share in common.

Each peer group is facilitated by an Allied Executives facilitator.  Each facilitator is a former member and/or current CEO or business owner.  The role of the facilitator is to chair the meetings, keep meetings on time and on point, ensure there is strong motivation behind the group, help each member understand one another’s unique contribution, and deliver the outcomes each member is striving for as part of their being involved.

Each peer group meeting meets once a month for a half day, on the same date and time each month (i.e., 3rd Tuesday, 9 AM).  It is the facilitator’s role to ensure each meeting remains on target, on time, and on point.  Each meeting follows a specific agenda and format to ensure each member is heard from and has an opportunity to receive feedback from the group.  Members within a group are non-competitive. 

Members are placed specifically with executives and owners who share their level of experience and responsibility and whose businesses are at a similar growth stage.  

Members are from non-competitive firms, have a variety of educational and cultural backgrounds, and possess different ages, genders, and points of view.  

Our goal is to create an environment in which, collectively, there is no experiential or expertise blind spot.

Our structure.  We are a MN company, with MN members.  Each facilitator is a former Allied Member, business owner, and works directly for our firm.  This allows us to focus on our members and ensure that everything we do and offer is with them in mind.  We have the flexibility, size, and culture that allows for our members to always be in the right group for them and receiving the maximum benefit.

Yes we do!  We have mixed key executive (CMO, COO, CFO, et al.), Sales Management, and Sales Producer peer groups.

We have a simple three-step process. Step one is to complete our membership assessment.

The simple assessment will provide us with a little bit of advanced information about you and your organization and help us determine what type of group may be right-fit for you.   Step two is to meet with an Allied Executives principal so we each have an opportunity to learn more about each other.  After completing the membership assessment, an Allied team member will reach out to you to set up that meeting. 

Step three is to experience a peer group first-hand.  We believe fit is critically important and work with you and our members to find that perfect group fit.

Often underestimated at first, knowing that you have committed to your group members that you will have something completed by the next meeting tends to focus one on getting it done.  

A group of peers, who will call you on your performance, will add to your accountability to get things done.  

Everyone can benefit from having someone respected hold your feet to the fire.  It can be even more profound when a dozen people collectively motivate you.

Trust is the foundation of every group.  What is discussed during a peer group meeting stays within the group.  A peer group provides a safe place, where the member can be themselves, and work through topics that he or she is unable to discuss with others directly related to their business.  

The group meeting is a safe place to share and test your ideas, get feedback or guidance on critical decisions, and work through issues you are not clear how to otherwise solve or discuss.

Within in a peer group, it is common to have well over 100 years of collective, real-world, business experience.  With this kind of experience, discussions are rich in variety and depth and raise the quality of the conversation. 

The variety in experience makes it difficult for biases to form.  The objectivity allows all members to remain fact-based and for each member to receive feedback and recommendations that have been vetted through rigorous peer review.

As the “boss”, it is difficult to get truthful, unfiltered answers from others.  In a peer group, your fellow members are not dependent on another for anything beyond involvement in the group.  When you ask for direct feedback, you get it. 

The peer group has no problem pointing out the blind spots for you and helping you move forward quickly. 

Making decisions without knowing the final outcome is difficult.  A peer group will provide you with an opportunity to think through possible scenarios in advance and test the mettle of your planned action prior to implementing.  

Your peer group is an outstanding idea engine, built upon the unique experiences of the other members, and a forum where outstanding outcomes will be developed.  

You get the chance to gain real world experience from experienced risk takers. 

A peer group brings with it the ability to focus a large group of accomplished, experienced, executives on a specific challenge.  

The outcome is a depth of thought capable of delivering greater focus and solutions than any individual can bring alone.  When you bring a challenge or opportunity to the peer group, you are unleashing a process that will deliver a significant change and depth of thinking to the topic. 

By zooming in on issues, the peer group provides a level of detail required for problem resolving to occur. 

Your peer group brings the insight and awareness of a dozen businesses and executives to the benefit of you.  This collective know-how provides insight you will not be able to get any other way.   A fresh set of eyes can bring new ideas to an old situation.
